Electrocardiogram processing
Miščík, Peter ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Ronzhina, Marina (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor's thesis is electrocardiogram (ECG) processing using LabView. The main part of a program for processing the ECG, particular suppressing various noises and detection R-peaks, is created in LabView environment. Used components and realization of individual parts of program are described in manual, achieved results are shown in pictures.
Detection of ventricular extrasystoles
Veleba, Josef ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the issue of ventricular extrasystoles and their detection in ECG signal. It provides a brief description of physiological electrical activity of the heart with the theoretical analysis of ventricular extrasystoles, QRS complex detection methods and the related detection of premature ventricular contractions. The main part of the work presents the process of implementation of selected QRS complex detection and premature ventricular contractions detection methods in MATLAB with the evaluation of test results.
QRS detection using zero crossing counts
Kašák, Pavel ; Hrubeš, Jan (referee) ; Vítek, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is focusing on problems of detection of QRS complex. It includes basic description of ECG signal. It acquaints with common methods of searching QRS complex. Main attention is paid to detection based on zero crossing counts, which is realized by MATLAB program. This algorithm is then tested on CSE database, optimised and its efficiency is evaluated.
Methods for detection of QRS complex
Lysák, Karel ; Chrobák, Martin (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with methods for detection of QRS complex in the ECG signal. There are described selected detection approaches, basic information about ECG and electrical activity of cardiac muscle. There is also described detailed procedure for the implementation of the three methods of detection in MATLAB and an assessment is made of the detectors tested on the CSE database. There are described some methods of cluster analysis and their possibilities of usage. There is also a description of detectors created by using cluster analysis and their efficiency is tested on the CSE database. Finally, there is a comparison of detection rates of all created detectors.
Accuracy of methods for detection of atrial fibrillation in ECG signals
Veleba, Josef ; Janoušek, Oto (referee) ; Provazník, Ivo (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the issue of atrial fibrillation and the success of their detection in the ECG signal. It provides a description of electrical activity of the heart with the theoretical analysis of atrial fibrillation and methods for their detection. Additionally the work describes procedures for the implementation of three selected methods for the detection of atrial fibrillation in the MATLAB environment, presents the results of their tests on two atrial fibrillation signal databases and assesses the accuracy of each method.
Textile electrodes in ECG measurement
Kocum, Filip ; Vélim, Jan (referee) ; Cupal, Miroslav (advisor)
This semestral thesis deals with the issue of electrocardiogram measurement and heart rate detection using textile electrodes placed on the body. One of the main tasks was to design the possibilities of attaching the sensors to the body in order to ensure the best possible adhesion to the skin. The work focuses on the design of suitable electrode placement in terms of functionality and stability of measurement. Furthermore, the work focuses on the comparison of textile and Ag / AgCl electrodes. The last point was the design of a preamplifier for measurement and its subsequent implementation.
Wavelet analysis of electrocardiographic signals
Hrbáček, Michal ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Klimek, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with Wavelet analysis of elektrocardiographic signals especially detection of P – wave from ECG signals. Papers includes the theory dealing with main topic and expains the procedur for detection of P waves.
Detection of acute ischemia in ECG signals using vessel-specific leads
Lysák, Karel ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Provazník, Ivo (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with methods for detection of myocardial ischemia in the ECG signal. There is explained the principle of spreading of electrical activity through the heart muscle and its manifestations on the ECG. There are also mentioned the causes of myocardial ischemia and various methods of its detection in the ECG signal. In great detail there is explained the process of implementation of the two selected detection methods of myocardial ischemia in MATLAB. These methods are tested on the data from The PTB Diagnostic ECG Database. Finally, there is the presentation of detection results on used data and overall assessment of created algorithms.
Measure of EKG signals and design of software QRS detection
Handl, Marek ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Kuna, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deals with the ECG signal detector and the implementation of the QRS complex. The paper briefly describes the anatomy of the heart, the emergence and spread of potentials that are evoked activity myocard. It follows introduction to the methods reading of ECG signals and the possibility of automatic classification of rhythm. The thesis also describes some of QRS detection algorithms and database PhysioNet, which includes a library of physiological signals. Finally are given the possibility of a computer system Biopac which is used for measuring biological signals. The second part focuses on the design of an algorithm of QRS complex detection and classification of the basic rhythm in the Matlab environment. The detector is tested on both test data, and the signals measured Biopac system. The work is also very effective optimization of the detector.
